Washington, DC-area writer, editor, and former journalist Diana P. Parsell is also author of the recently released Eliza Scidmore: The Trailblazing Journalist Behind Washington’s Cherry Trees. Julia Kuehn of the University of Hong Kong calls the new biography “a wonderful connecting of two women writers’ stories more than a century apart.” Parsell discussed Eliza Scidmore with fellow BIO member Lisa Napoli earlier this month.
