A onetime college football player and now a columnist for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and CrimeReads, Eli Cranor is also the Edgar Award-winning author of Don’t Know Tough, his debut novel. Cranor’s sophomore effort is Ozark Dogs, which the Financial Times calls “a gritty, authentic triumph, one howling to be turned into a film or TV series.” Cranor discussed Ozark Dogs with Stephen Usery in April.
