Hena Khan is the award-winning author of multiple books for young readers, including Amina’s Voice and Amina’s Song. Her newest work, illustrated by Safiya Zerrougui, is the middle-grade We Are Big Time. Publishers Weekly calls the book “an uplifting graphic novel that celebrates female Muslim athletes and highlights how the teens’ faith, sport, and relationships intersect.” Khan discussed We Are Big Time with Stephen Usery in October.
