An occasional series in which writers speak for themselves.

A senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute and member of the Wall Street Journal’s editorial board, Jason L. Riley is also the author of multiple books, including Let Them In: The Case for Open Borders and Please Stop Helping Us: How Liberals Make It Harder for Blacks to Succeed. His new book is Maverick: A Biography of Thomas Sowell, which Kirkus says, “will be valuable to students of economics, Black conservatism, and public policy.”
Riley recently discussed Maverick with author/attorney Talmage Boston. Listen to the podcast here.
