An occasional series in which writers speak for themselves.

An associate professor of presidential studies at the University of Virginia, Marc Selverstone is also chair of UVA’s Miller Center’s Presidential Recordings Program. His most recent book is The Kennedy Withdrawal: Camelot and the American Commitment to Vietnam, which Tom McCarthy, chair of the history department at the U.S. Naval Academy, says, “Provides what may stand as the definitive answer to the question of whether Kennedy would have withdrawn U.S. forces from Vietnam or not.”
Selverstone discussed The Kennedy Withdrawal with author/attorney Talmage Boston last week. Listen to the podcast here.
