Pulitzer Prize-winning biographer Stacy Schiff is the author of multiple bestselling books, including Cleopatra: A Life, The Witches: Suspicion, Betrayal, and Hysteria in 1692 Salem, and A Great Improvisation: Franklin, France, and the Birth of America. Her new work is The Revolutionary: Samuel Adams, which Adam Gopnik calls “a wildly entertaining exploration of the roots of American political theatre.” Schiff discussed The Revolutionary with Stephen Usery during a two-part interview in November.
