The free literary fun happens Sat., Mar. 14th, from 3-7 p.m.!
The nation’s capital is full of readers, and the DC LIT FEST will give those readers a chance to mix, mingle, and meet the city’s literary organizations all in one place. Organized by the PEN/Faulkner Foundation and the Goethe-Institute Washington, this FREE event will start with an open house and a pop-up book sale, then conclude with a panel discussion* featuring some of DC’s literary leaders and a wine reception for the entire literary community.

The participating organizations include the Alan Cheuse Center for International Writers, Day Eight, Fall for the Book, Free Minds Book Club and Writing Workshop, the Goethe-Institute Washington, the Hurston/Wright Foundation, The Inner Loop, PEN/Faulkner, Poetry Daily, Shout Mouse Press, Split This Rock, Stillhouse Press, Washington Independent Review of Books, Washington Writers' Publishing House, Watershed Lit, and The Writer's Center.
* NOTE: seating for the panel presentation will be first-come, first-served!
