An occasional series in which writers speak for themselves.
Longtime journalists Susan Glasser (a staff writer for the New Yorker) and Peter Baker (chief White House correspondent for the New York Times) first collaborated as co-authors on Kremlin Rising: Vladimir Putin’s Russia and the End of Revolution, and later on The Man Who Ran Washington: The Life and Times of James A. Baker III. The husband-and-wife duo worked together most recently on The Divider: Trump in the White House, 2017-2021, which the Guardian calls “a beautifully written, utterly dispiriting history of the man who attacked democracy.”
At an October fundraiser for the Dallas Bar Foundation, Glasser and Baker spoke with author/attorney Talmage Boston about each of the administrations they’ve covered. Listen to the podcast here.
