Join Kosoko Jackson and Unique Howard in Baltimore on Thurs., June 19th, at 6 p.m.!
On June 19th, Black Writer’s Pride week will be hosting a Juneteenth celebration! The Swann Juneteenth Celebration will be held at Charm City Books from 6-9 p.m.
To celebrate the liberation and freedom of our ancestors, the evening will include a conversation between Black Writer’s Pride Week Founder Brandon Rashad Butts and author of Survive the Dome and the forthcoming The Macabre, Kosoko Jackson. There will also be a special performance by multi-intersectional poet Unique Howard.
Food and drinks will be supplied by Homeboy Dinner Party and Jaay’s Watermelonade.
