Join host Glo Shines in DC on Tues., Nov. 25th, at 8 p.m.!

Tuesday Night Open-Mic (Poetry & Music)

Glo Shines is a poet, emcee, host, and supplier of vibes. A hip-hopper since a toddler, Glo composed her first raps at the age of 4. Poetry and spoken-word came many years later. She has performed for and worked with the public school systems of Norfolk, Hampton, and Newport News, VA. She has also worked with various charities, including Parents against bullying, the Boys and Girls Club, and Teens with a Purpose.

For two hours, audiences can expect a diverse chorus of voices, and a vast array of professional spoken-word performers, open-mic rookies, and musicians. Expect to be moved, expect a packed house, expect the unexpected, but above all, come with an open mind and ear.
