An occasional series in which writers speak for themselves.

A columnist for the Independent and the author of several crime novels under his real name, E.A. Aymar, the pseudonymous E.A. Barres is also author of They’re Gone, which Kirkus calls “smartly plotted, violent, and utterly absorbing.” Barres discussed his most recent book with WYPL’s Stephen Usery in late February.

[Editor's note: E.A. Barres will appear at this year's all-virtual Gaithersburg Book Festival on Tues., May 4th, at noon (EDT).]
