An occasional series in which writers speak for themselves.

Along with being a staffer at the New Yorker, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Lawrence Wright is also the author of multiple works of fiction and nonfiction, including Thirteen Days in September: The Dramatic Story of the Struggle for Peace, Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood, & the Prison of Belief, and The Looming Tower: Al-Qaeda and the Road to 9/11. His latest book is the novel Mr. Texas, which Susan Orlean calls “smart, biting, wickedly funny, and really good company…[it] is required reading in these politically turbulent times.”
Wright recently discussed Mr. Texas with author/attorney Talmage Boston. Listen to the podcast here.
