Liza’s been blogging at (a)Musing Foodie since 2010, encouraging folks to learn more about making tasty recipes that are simple enough to throw together on a weeknight, but that are also made from scratch, local and organic as possible. In early summer 2014, Liza (a Washington D.C. suburbs native) uprooted her husband and two young kids to a small farmette in central Maryland, where they’re busy enjoying acreage, organic gardens and lots of chickens – but still in close proximity to the city! When she’s not donning her foodie blogger hat, Liza is a full-time marketing analyst for a national brand and serves on several non-profit boards in her Frederick, Md.
