Meg Opperman

Meg Opperman has mastered the art of eavesdropping in bars around the globe. These experiences have given her ample story ideas, though not enough time to write them all down. A former Fulbright scholar, she’s lived in Tanzania, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, but currently resides stateside. Her previous life — as an anthropologist and researcher — has not only informed elements of her short stories, but also has strongly influenced her sense of humor. (Sorry.) She’s had short stories published in Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine, Sherlock Holmes Mystery Magazine, Weird Tales, and various mystery anthologies. You can find more about Meg at her website, or meet up with her on Facebook.
